Dexter Danger was born in the town of San Francisco, CA, in the Winter of 2000. And have built their stature with true D.I.Y. ethics since day one. In their time together they have gathered an incredibly loyal and massive fan base that has allowed them to sell out all ages venues and youth centers almost everywhere in town. Their musical style ranges from punk, to emo, to straight rock and roll, with unforgettable melodies and haunting melodic screaming. They are influenced by a diverse medley of bands that stretch from Green Day, to The Beatles, to Jimmy Eat World, and the Deftones. Dexter Danger have put out two releases on their own: an EP entitled "It's Not Pretty Being Easy", which has since become out of print, and their debut full length album "Forever Broken", both produced and recorded by the notorious Andy Ernst (Green Day, Rancid, AFI, Link 80). The tracks "Access Denied", "Lose It All", and "The Second I Asked For" from these releases have all made their way onto mainstream radio, on the largest modern rock station in the Bay Area, Live 105 KITS FM, as well as various college radio stations across the United States. They have also landed spots at the most prominent clubs and venues in the Bay Area such as: Slim's, 924 Gilman Street, The Great American Music Hall, and The Pound. And have shared the stage with such acts as: The Aquabats, Link 80, Rx Bandits, The Suicide Machines, Slick Shoes, Yellowcard, Rufio, Tsunami Bomb, Don't Look Down, Ten Foot Pole, Bowling For Soup and many more. Dexter Danger also made their way to rocking the Drive Thru Records stage on the Vans Warped Tour in 2002. Their intense, almost magical stage presence at live shows is not to be missed, some have even said that the word "incredible" in describing their live show be an injustice. Dexter Danger is a band that immediately calls for your attention, and deserve the chance to pour every drip of emotion out to their audience. It would be unfair to yourself to just turn away.
